Job Description

Post Title: Mechanic
Location: Various Locations in the Highlands (Aviemore, Inverness, Dingwall)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent 
Salary: £33,285 - £36,921 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:

To ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the Council’s fleet by carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), plant, and associated equipment.

Requirements

Time-served HGV Motor Vehicle Mechanic, qualified to City & Guilds Part 1 and 2, Scotvec National Certificate, or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair. 

Current drivers licence is required, preferably holds a valid Category C (HGV) driving licence.
