Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £29,047 - £32,359 p.a.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team led by the Principal Engineer to provide support to the Roads Service in organising, programming and monitoring works associated with roads and winter services. This will include Strategic Timber Transport Schemes and other capital or revenue works, while adhering to Council procurement procedures and providing support to Area Roads colleagues. Duties will also include maintaining records and assisting colleagues in the use of IT systems.

Requirements

Valid driving licence.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

Computer literate with experience of IT systems.
