Salary: £24,879 - £27,209 p.a.

Job Purpose: To provide efficient and effective management of the Payroll Section covering all aspects of payroll, conditions of service, pension administration for LGPS and SPPA (Local Government Pensions Scheme and Scottish Public Pensions Agency), discretionary payments - additional payment runs, redundancy payments and settlements, salary sacrifice, payrolled benefits, Travel and subsistence, P11D, class 1A submissions and off payroll working/IR35:

Requirements

  • CIPP - Diploma Payroll/Degree Management or equivalent qualification and active full CIPP membership
  • Extensive experience in payroll administration within large, multifunctional organisations.
  • Proven success in managing a payroll team.
