Job Purpose: As a Payroll Officer (Pensions), you will provide expertise and support to the Pension Funds Management team in legislation relating to all Pensioner Payroll activities.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Pensioner Payroll ensuring that all operational and statutory deadlines are met. You will lead in the implementation of test plans for legislative and system changes, the production and reconciliation of RTI submissions, and coordinating the end of year reconciliation with the Financial Ledger.
You will provide support and guidance to pensioner members on all aspects of Pensioner Payroll obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times.

Requirements
Experience in payroll/pension administration gained in Local Government.
Detailed understanding of payroll legislation and HMRC regulations
