Job Purpose:
Undertake the administration of contract documents and all tendering processes, to meet procurement regulations and Council procedures. To lead a site team carrying out supervision and contract compliance of construction contracts throughout Highland, including associated compensation evaluation and dispute resolution, and all administrative processes.
The Project Design Unit is seeking an ambitious, experienced Engineer who is enthusiastic about contract compliance and site supervision. You must possess excellent communication skills with an ability to present complex technical issues in a concise and logical manner.
Based in our Inverness office, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the team responsible for contract preparation compliance and the supervision of construction projects. The post holder will ensure procurement regulations and Council procedures are carried out, contract preparation is in line with model documents and also manage the supervision of infrastructure construction projects whilst maintaining quality assurance of our Engineering Supervision Teams across the Highlands.

Requirements
Chartered Engineer - Member of ICE, or equivalent.
