Post Title: Programme Manager (Reconfiguring our Asset Base)
Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness* (Hybrid)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 23 Months
Salary: £58,622 - £63,973 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To support the delivery of projects within the Reconfiguring our Asset Base Portfolio programmes to meet agreed objectives and targets. Supporting the Chief Officer (Property & Assets) to ensure effective governance and implementation of the portfolio programme and liaising with a wide range of internal and external partners.

The Highland Council’s new operational Delivery Plan is a major programme of transformation for the next three years (2024-2027), drawing together the Council’s Programme and Budget Strategy with the Highland Outcome Improvement Plan (HOIP).
This post presents an excellent opportunity for a focused and enthusiastic individual to drive forward the successful delivery of a programme focused on the Single Property Service and Highland Investment Plan Workstreams of the Reconfiguring our Asset Base Portfolio. The successful applicant will use their existing skills and experience and apply them across a diverse range of projects and a broad spectrum of activity, ensuring key deliverables and targets are met, accelerating the delivery of our Asset Management approach, and supporting the progression of the Highland Investment Plan.
If you have significant experience of working in property and asset management with strong project management skills, self-motivation and ability to see a problem as a challenge then we want to hear from you.
