Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 6+ Years
Salary: £32,596 - £36,145 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a Team led by the Roads Operations Manager where the Roads Inspector’s role is to assist with the inspection and management of the ‘SSEN – Skye Kinloch-Hourn Overhead Lines, Enabling Works’ project. On site works will be to ensure compliance with contract, programme, specification and protect the road network.
The Highland Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to become a Roads Inspector. The team are responsible for ensuring the Highland Council acting as Roads Authority fulfils its responsibility for all aspects of road safety.
