Post Title: Safety Health Emergency Planning (SHEP) Advisor
Location: Hybrid (Inverness)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £40,021 - £43,388 pro rata

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist closely the Occupational Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager and Emergency Planning & Business Continuity Manager in the provision of an effective Occupational health safety, wellbeing, and Emergency Planning service for the Highland Council and therefore, to the Highland Community.

Requirements

Education to HNC or HND level or professional equivalent

Evidence of NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent or evidence of willingness to work towards it

Ability to travel independently around the whole of Highland Council’s area and elsewhere in the UK when necessary.

Full driving licence
