Job Purpose: To co-ordinate work of the TP team alongside the other Senior Engineer within the team and provide advice on all TP related matters.

To represent the Roads and Transport point of view in relation to new development proposals in particular with the larger more complex planning applications within the Highland Area

To be an effective line manager for other membes of the TP Team.

Requirements

  • Extensive post qualification experience in a wide range of roads development management and RCC work
  • Degree in Civil Engineering/Transport Planning or a related subject relevant to roads development management.
  • Valid driving licence. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
