Job Description

Post Title: Senior Payroll Officer
Location: Highland Hybrid
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 6 Months
Salary: £40,021 £43,388 per annum

Job Purpose: To oversee and ensure the efficient and accurate day-to-day operations of a designated area within the Payroll Section, maintaining full compliance with statutory and organisational requirements. The role will also be responsible for preparing and analysing payroll reports to support financial planning, audit requirements, and strategic decision-making. This includes monitoring key performance indicators, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to management.

Requirements

  • CIPP - Diploma Payroll/Degree Management or equivalent qualification and active 
    full CIPP membership
  • Extensive experience in payroll administration within large, multifunctional 
    organisations.
