Post Title: Senior Technician (Strategy & Testing)
Location: Diriebught Roads Depot, Inverness
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £34,034 - £38,056 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work within the Materials Laboratory Team for the Project Design Unit both in the Laboratory and on construction sites, etc. throughout the Highland Council Area.

Requirements

• Eng Tech Qualification or NC/HNC Civil Engineering with seven years experience, or equivalent in a science/engineering related subject, or equivalent experience in an equivalent technical role.
• You may be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
• Valid driving licence.*
• *Given the rural nature of the area covered by this post, the post holder may be required to have a valid driving licence to enable them to carry out their duties.
