Salary: Band 5 - £20,696 - £25,786 p.a. (£34,494 - £42,977 pro rata)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Working as part of the School Nursing service to support the delivery of the universal child health programme for school aged children (5-19 yrs) within school and community settings. This includes contributing to health promotion, supporting early identification of health and wellbeing needs, and delivering interventions in line with the School Nursing pathways.
Working alongside the School Nurse and in partnership with education staff in their roles as Named Persons, contributing to the childs plan through health assessment, information sharing,and application of the National Practice Model to support children and young people with identified health needs.

Requirements
Current first level registration.
Post-graduate level study (SCQF level 11, master’s level) which leads to a professional registration on part 3 of the NMC Register as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN).
Ability to travel for work requirements.
This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:
- You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
- You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
