Job Description

Post Title: Strategic Lead (HR)
Location: Across the Highlands - can be based at any office location across the highlands
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent 
Salary: £81,263 - £88,834 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To have overall management responsibility for the strategic support of Highland Council’s HR, Learning and Development and Payroll Teams and the operational delivery of their functions as part of an integrated approach and in line with the Service delivery model; and to support all managers within the Service to deliver quality services in accordance with the agreed Delivery Plan.

Requirements

A relevant degree or professional qualification (or equivalent professional experience) relating to HR, or a related field, and evidence of continuing professional development. 

Significant experience of leadership and management responsibilities in HR in a large and complex organisation.
