Salary: Dependent on experience -
- Technician HC06 £32,596 - £36,145 p.a.
- Senior Technician HC07 £36,636 - £40,968 p.a.
- Senior Technician HC08 £41,423 - £44,899 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work within the Structures Section producing designs, assessments, reports, drawings and contract documents for works related to bridges and other road structures. To work on asset management of structures in general and inspections in particular.

Requirements
- Candidates for Technician shall have an HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Candidates for Senior Technician grade HC07 shall hold the EngTech professional qualification from a relevant Engineering body or shall be able to demonstrate at least seven years of relevant experience.
- Candidates for Senior Technician grade HC08 shall hold the EngTech professional qualification from a relevant Engineering body and shall be able to demonstrate at least twelve years of relevant experience.
