Job Purpose: The postholder will contribute to the Council’s programme by alleviating poverty, increasing financial inclusion and improving wellbeing. The post holder will work positively and independently with our most vulnerable and protected service users to provide an effective and efficient customer-focused welfare advice and inspection service across the whole of the Highlands.

Requirements

Candidates must be educated to at least an HND in a relevant discipline or training to an equivalent standard.

Given the nature of this job, the post holder will be required to travel alone and frequently across and out with the Highland area. A clean and current driving licence is essential as is the ability to stay away from home overnight.
