About the Role

Home Farm Care Home is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our leadership team. Working alongside the Home Manager and the two existing deputies, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, person‑centred, high‑quality care for our residents.

This is a leadership position where you will support the day‑to‑day running of the home, lead and inspire the staff team, and ensure all aspects of care align with regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Deputy to the Home Manager, supporting operational and clinical leadership.

Lead the care team to deliver compassionate, dignified and person‑centred care.

Oversee care planning, assessments, and regular reviews to ensure residents’ needs are met.

Promote high standards of clinical care, quality assurance, and compliance with Care Inspectorate requirements.

Support staff development, supervision, and performance.

Build positive working relationships with residents, families, GP practices, MDT colleagues and partner agencies.

Deputise for the Home Manager during absence and contribute to service improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is an experienced registered nurse (Band 6 equivalent desirable).

Has strong leadership, communication and team‑building skills.

Has a sound understanding of clinical governance, person‑centred care, and relevant legislation.

Can effectively manage rotas, staff, and daily operational priorities.

Can inspire confidence and promote a positive culture within the home.
