SOCIAL CARE ASSISTANTS x 2

BAND 2 - Salary (£24,647 to £26,763) pro-rata

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of people? Do you want to help people thrive, not just survive? Then this could be just the job you are looking for.

We are looking for people who share our values and those who share our commitment to providing a high quality service. So, are you a caring, compassionate and reliable person who is interested in supporting people in your community, if so this is an extremely rewarding role where you will be proud of the difference you make!

These posts are responsible for providing personal care and support to service users in a residential care setting. To do this we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are able to work both on an individual basis and as a member of a team. You will adopt a person centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the home to maximise and maintain their independence.

Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential. Ideally you should hold an SVQ 2 in Social Care, or other relevant qualification, to enable registration with the SSSC as a Support Worker in a Care Home Service or be willing to achieve this within 5 years of appointment.

There are 2 part-time permanent posts available, 25.41 hrs and 22.3 hours both working a three week rota consisting of day, back and night shifts and includes evening and weekend enhancements.
