Social Worker, Wester Ross

The Skye and Lochalsh and Wester Ross Integrated Health & Social Care Team has a vacancy for a fully qualified Social Worker. The Team works closely with other disciplines such as nursing and mental health teams to provide a multi disciplinary and integrated service in a beautiful but remote and rural setting.

The successful candidate will be located in Ullapool or the wider Wester Ross area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to work in a community care context with adults.

We are a small and motivated Team that work hard to support adults with care needs in Skye and Lochalsh. Good Team working skills are essential as we work closely to support each other in meeting the diverse range of challenges we face.

Roles include working with older adults, adults with learning disabilities, autism and those in transition from Children’s services.

Duties will include:

Supporting vulnerable adults and their families and carers

Working with clients with a person centred approach

Working within relevant legislation including the Adult Support and Protection, Adults with Incapacity and Mental Health Acts

Working with other NHS professionals to provide a multi-disciplinary framework to interventions.
