An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Home Manager in Newbyres Village care home in Gorebridge. you will lead the dementia and complex care focused service, driving standards, quality and the best resident experience. This role demands a committed leader ready to challenge the status quo and bring innovative strategies to the forefront of care provision. You will be responsible for ensuring our care home operates at the highest standards, delivering exceptional care.

Essential

Diploma in Social Work or equivalent OR SVQ4 in Care OR S/NVQ4 in Health & Social Care, Registered Managers Award or equivalent.

Registration with SSSC.

Significant and demonstrable experience of practice at a senior level in a care home for older people. The jobholder must be able to evidence considerable experience of staff management, leadership, decision making, and communication skills.

The jobholder will undertake training specified within the Unit’s training & staff development plan in relation to administration of medication and other mandatory training requirements.
