To maintain and repair the councils fleet of vehicles & plant

Responsibilities

The Maintenance & repair of vehicles and plant

Demonstration of an interest in vehicle maintenance

3 SQA Standard grades or equivalent at Level 3 or above

Active listening and verbal skills for effective interaction with staff at all levels

Flexible approach to work

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Be prepared to work in unclean areas of the workshop and stores facilities

Temporary - 3/4 Year Apprenticeship

Starting Salary: £17,065.88 Craft Apprentice Scale
37 Hours per week
