Job Description
To work with ELC settings, primary and secondary schools to develop resources to support children and young people with complex needs that face communication challenges. To work with education providers and partners to promote inclusive practice and communication friendly learning environments. Through a focus on a variety of communication strategies including supporting with the use of digital resources and creation of additional resources for use in schools. You will work with colleagues to establish collaborative relationships to benefit children and young people that face communication challenges and to enable them to promote independence, resilience, and engagement with learning.
Responsibilities
Work with colleagues and partners to support children and young people with complex needs that face communication challenges to promote inclusive practice and communication friendly learning environments.
Develop and support the development of resources for settings to use to benefit the learning of children and young people with complex needs that face communication challenges and ensure the impact is evidenced and evaluated
To support and facilitate the delivery of a variety of digital resources to settings so they can best meet the communication challenges of children and young people with complex needs.

- Experience of work with children and young people who have complex needs and communication challenges.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs
- Experience of working within a young person's environment
- A minimum of 4 national 5s, or 4 Standard Grades at level 2 or above. Must include English and Maths

- You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray, this is normally undertaken by use of a car
