Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity to advance your career in a kind, inclusive and nurturing learning environment? Lhanbryde Primary School is looking for a Head Teacher to lead their learning community on the next stage of their journey... Lhanbryde Primary School’s vision is for all children to grow from ‘curious caterpillars’ into ‘brilliant butterflies’. School values permeate throughout the curriculum and day to day life in the school, with focus on being kind, inclusive and nurturing. Built in 1997, Lhanbryde Primary School is an open-plan school with an enhanced provision. The catchment area includes council and private housing and supports children from the villages of Lhanbryde and nearby Urquhart as well as their surrounding rural areas, so many of the children are transported to and from school by bus or taxi. The catchment area encompasses a range of families across Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) deciles with approximately one third of pupils from deciles 1 to 3. The school is very inclusive and pride themselves on their welcoming, supportive learning environment and ethos. With an enhanced provision area within the Primary School, children learn to accept and understand that we are all important and unique, celebrating diversity and equality.
