Job Description

Requirements

To provide professional leadership and management of the school ensuring the safety of all pupils and conducting the affairs of the school to the benefit of the pupils and the community it serves through pursuing objectives and implementing policies set by the education authority under the overall direction of the Head of Education (Chief Education Officer). The Individual

This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council. A relocation package of £5400 (exclusive of VAT) may be available for this post
