Job Description
Lead the review and improvement of business processes for Environmental Health & Trading Standards and develop a strong customer focus.
Lead, support and administer appropriate projects for the Environmental Health & Trading Standards Services.
Requirements
Drive continuous improvement through procedural and business change processes for the Environmental Health & Trading Standards Services.
Responsible for delivering agreed projects on behalf of the Environmental Health & Trading Standards Manager
Contributing to the effectiveness of the Service.
The Individual
Considerable experience of data management systems
Considerable experience of Project Management skills
Considerable experience of Process Mapping skills
Considerable experience of undertaking significant and sustained business process review
Considerable experience in the use of IDOX suite of products
Working in a project environment – managing a project from concept to closure
Experience of analysing complex information in order to identify possible improvements to processes.
Appropriate degree level qualification or equivalent skills/experience*
Effective communication, presentation and negotiating skills
High level of personal initiative and ability to work with the minimum of supervision
Excellent analytical and evaluative abilities and clear thinking
Strong customer care skills and focus
Self-confidence

Familiarity with data quality assurance techniques
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car/van
