Job Description

To lead the design, development and delivery of training and eLearning to support digital systems and service transformation across Moray Health and Social Care, with an initial focus on the implementation of the Mosaic case management system. The postholder will provide strategic direction for training delivery, ensuring alignment with system configuration, service requirements and programme objectives. The postholder will also plan and coordinate of training delivery, including sequencing, resource deployment and the effective use of systems trainers to support programme rollout.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the overall training approach for system implementation, including decisions on delivery methods, sequencing and resource deployment.

• Identify training requirements in collaboration with project team members, service leads, supplier and system specialists.

• Design a structured Mosaic training programme covering core navigation, role-based workflows, and service-specific processes.

• To design, coordinate and deliver training sessions (face-to-face, virtual and eLearning)

• Plan and coordinate training delivery resources, including the effective use of systems trainers to support implementation.

• Translate system functionality into practical, workflow-based training that reflects real service scenarios. Evaluate the effectiveness of training intervention and refine approach based on user feedback and system updates.

 

The Individual

Minimum two years in learning & development or organisational development role, with experience/knowledge of:

Developing, delivering, facilitating and evaluating training and assessing the impact of training, learning and development.

Experience working within a project or system implementation environment Confident in providing advice to managers and employees.

Experience of developing digital content as stand-alone or part of blended learning solution(s).

Ability to translate technical systems into practical learning Relevant degree or extensive evidence of learning in a vocational capacity.

Understanding of current L&D and public sector issues Professional qualification in L&D or management.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Ability to plan and organise work effectively to meet deadlines.

Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions.

Confident use of standard digital tools and systems.

Knowledge of and commitment to work effectively within relevant legislation and practice.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to adapt style, tone, approach and materials to suit audience.

Ability to motivate, persuade and influence a wide range of stakeholders to encourage collaborative working, deal with conflict and resistance and to influence and affect major change in service delivery which will improve services.

An ability to gain credibility and appropriately challenge and manage differing views/resistance to change in a group setting.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car/van.
