We are looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the Addiction Worker role with our Drug Treatment and Testing Order (DTTO) team. The team are based within the Partnership Delivery Team in Irvine North Ayrshire. However, this is a pan-Ayrshire service so the successful candidate will be required to work across the three Local Authority areas. The Addiction Worker will be required to build effective working relationship with those subject to the Order. They will deliver therapeutic interventions, administer oral drug screening and devise, and regularly update, Recovery Care Plans for individuals involved with the service. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with colleagues within the team and contribute to regular Court review reports that are a feature of the DTTO. In additional, it is expected that the Addiction Worker would establish relationships with our key partners in the NHS, the recovery community and beyond to help build connections and access wider supports for our service users.
