We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Admin Assistant to join our Place Directorate Support Office. This is a varied and fast‑paced role, supporting a busy team that provides administrative and executive support across the Place Directorate. As our Admin Assistant, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations. You’ll assist with managing correspondence, handling enquiries, preparing documents, arranging meetings and providing general administrative support to the Personal Assistant and Directorate Support Assistants. The role also provides cover during periods of leave to deliver secretarial support to the Heads of Service, ensuring continuity of service across the Directorate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service. You will handle a range of enquiries, including complex queries and complaints that must be dealt with within set timeframes, so strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure are essential.
