Job Summary

Trindlemoss Day Opportunities provides high‑quality, person‑centred support to adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. Our service is designed to promote independence, confidence, social inclusion, meaningful activity and positive life experiences. We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Development Workers to join our team. The role involves supporting individuals to engage in a wide range of structured and meaningful activities, both within Trindlemoss and in the wider community, tailored to individual abilities, interests and personal outcomes. As a Development Worker, you will ,provide respectful, person‑centred support to adults and young people with diverse needs. Support the delivery of engaging activities that promote independence, wellbeing and life skills. Work closely with families and carers to ensure a holistic approach to support. Promote inclusion, dignity, choice and positive relationships Work as part of a skilled and committed multi‑disciplinary team We are looking for like‑minded people who share our values and commitment to person‑centred care. Have experience, or a strong interest, in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs and value equality, diversity and inclusion. We are particularly keen to hear from male applicants, as this will help us achieve a more gender‑balanced workforce that better reflects the people who use our service. This requirement is in line with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, which allows for an Occupational Requirement where being of a particular sex is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.
