This role is an early intervention and preventative post based in the Family Centred Wellbeing Service (FCWS), within our H&SCP. The successful candidate will provide assessment and evidence based intervention for children/young people aged 5 -18 years to enable them to achieve their full potential across all aspects of daily life at home and in the community. The role will also encompass consultation, advice and support for children/young people and their families and the wider multi-agency/disciplinary team. The FCWS has been identified, along with other services, as a support service for children/young people and their families where there may be a neurodevelopmental presentation (with or without a diagnosis) impacting on physical, social, emotional, behavioural and/or mental health and well-being. Therefore, a good working knowledge of current national policy and relevant experience of working with children/young people would be advantageous, however, this is not essential as training will be made available. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will have access to professional supervision and scope to participate in a wide variety of professional development opportunities. The post is equivalent to a Band 6 post.
