An exciting opportunity has emerged to join the 3 Towns Locality Children and Families Team. Applications are invited from qualified social workers to join the team on a permanent basis. This post is 35 hours per week. The locality team covers the towns of Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston. We are based in the community and have active links with children, their parents/caregivers, and locally involved agencies. Working within the legislative framework, national and local policies and procedures, the successful candidate will join a team that works effectively together, and an excellent training package with regular supervision are noted. You must be able to build and sustain effective working relationships with children of varying ages, their parents and other involved agencies. You must have the ability to write assessments, with excellent analytic skills and present same at forums including children's hearings, looked after reviews and child protections meetings. We are utilising the Signs of Safety Framework as a key part of our practice, with the Safe and Together model, and the Promise we are making life safer, happier and healthier for children and their families. A comprehensive induction plan will be in place, with access to high quality training promoting your personal and career development.
