North Ayrshire Council (Arran) are looking for an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to lead their busy, hardworking grounds care team. The team pride themselves on the high standards achieved and they have a passion for providing great customer service. We would therefore welcome applicants from a variety of relevant backgrounds including Grounds Maintenance, Arboriculture, Landscaping, Land management etc. This is a 'hands on' role requiring practical knowledge of grounds care, safe working systems, contract management of numerous sites, experience of relevant tool use and care and excellent communications skills. Knowledge of working in a rural environment and/or Arran would also be welcome. The attached role profile provides more details. Please note that this role is based only on Arran, from our base at the Council Offices in Lamlash. The hours of work are fixed at 42hrs per week (Monday to Friday) in the Summer and 30 (Monday to Friday) in the Winter.
