Job Summary

Temporary for 12 months.

This is a maternity cover for a period of up to 12 months. This role leads on a number of statutory planning functions and requires someone with strong planning and organisational skills. The role also leads on a number of strategies and plans and experience developing strategies in a public sector environment would be desirable. The postholder will be expected to lead the development of Locality Plans and a Workforce Plan with the support of the wider team and monitor the delivery of the newly developed Strategic Plan for 2026-2030. The Strategic Planning and Equalities Team has oversight of: - Strategic Planning: Development and monitoring of the Strategic Plan - Locality Planning: Development and monitoring of locality plans and oversight of local processes and structures, including working closely with the Community Planning Partnership locality arrangements - Workforce Planning: Development and monitoring of the workforce plan - Equalities: Development and monitoring of the HSCPs Equality Outcomes and ensuring compliance with Equality Duties - Engagement: Oversight of the HSCPs approach to engagement.
