Welcome to North Lanarkshire
This is North Lanarkshire. It’s the place to Live, Learn, Work, Invest and Visit.
This is our vision, and our shared ambition. It’s what We Aspire to achieve.
It means economic regeneration and growth that benefits everyone in North Lanarkshire. It means responding to major social, economic and technological change.
Being the fourth-largest authority in Scotland, we provide a range of services for almost 340,000 residents, over 150,000 households, as well as thousands of businesses and visitors.
We’re working with our partners to improve the lives of everyone who lives, works or visits here by driving inclusive economic growth, increasing skills and generating jobs and training opportunities. In doing this, we will reduce poverty and inequality.
Working in partnership to achieve this is fundamental and we involve people in communities in what we do. We share our ambitions with them, so they have a shared understanding of what we want for North Lanarkshire.
We have big ideas and the vision to achieve them.
North Lanarkshire. It’s the place to Live, Learn, Work, Invest and Visit.
During the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, North Lanarkshire Council will continue to advertise all business critical roles. Roles currently advertised will be reviewed on a case by case basis and candidates will be kept informed of processes and associated timeframes.
In line with current stay at home government guidelines, selection processes are being adapted and you may be required to undertake a telephone or video interview instead of the normal face to face process. We will continually review this in line with the most up-to-date guidance and be in touch with candidates individually.
We would like to thank you for your interest in working for North Lanarkshire Council and for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. If you have a particular enquiry about a role you have applied for, please contact our recruitment team via email ESC-RecruitmentTeam@northlan.gov.uk. Thank you
