We are looking for an experienced, dedicated professional and highly motivated individual to lead a well-regarded team responsible for oversight of the Business and Digital Programme Management Office, the Contracts and Finance to support delivery of a multi-functional service, the Council’s Business Change Programme and development of the Workforce of the Future requirements to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce within the Service.

You will play a critical role in helping the Council achieve its objectives as set out in the Plan for North Lanarkshire and its newly refreshed Programme of Work. Working a hybrid model of home-working and office-based within Civic Square, Motherwell, you will have responsibility for a varied portfolio of services including establishing and managing an approach to prioritise, plan, execute and manage the delivery of business change activities as well as overseeing the delivery of contracts with a significant value and with a portfolio of community benefits. Knowledge of Programme Management and Resource Scheduling is required to ensure the delivery of business change and benefits realisation along with an awareness of current development opportunities to support the Workforce for the Future required to sustain service delivery requirements.

Educated to degree or equivalent level, you should have extensive management experience and be skilled in the development of strategies goals, strategies and polices. Evidence of developing and maintaining constructive working relationships is essential.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
