Supported Enterprise Service support disabled people and those facing barrier to gain and sustain employment.A key priority of the service is to create training development and employment opportunities for our ASN and Autistic young adults.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a job coach to join our DFN Project SEARCH programme based within University Hospital Monklands. DFN Project SEARCH is a place and train concept for young adults with a learning disability and or autism. The project is delivered in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council, New College Lanarkshire and NHS Lanarkshire.The role involves working closely with the project lecturer to deliver the DFN Project SEARCH curriculum. A key aspect of the role is to develop onsite work placements, suitable for the students as well as developing relationships with department managers and mentors. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating job coaching support and guidance throughout the programme. You should be educated to SVQ level 3/HNC. Have moderate experience of working with ASN young people or assisting people into employment. The ability to travel throughout North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas is essential due to the geographical spread of work. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

Work Pattern-35 hours per week

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8:45am to 4:15pm

Week 2 - Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 5.30pm

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
