Temporary up to 31 March 2027

£35,553 - £38,309 pro rata 
£19.48 - £20.99 per hour 

The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Team Manager (Adult Learning and Employability).

Your working pattern is 14 hours per week. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.

Do you have what it takes to help people improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, numeracy and guide them into further education or employment?

At The Learning Link we have taught hundreds of people over the years, helping them to 'brush-up' on their basic skills and gain enough confidence to apply for a college course or a new job. This includes support with literacy, numeracy, digital skills, health and wellbeing or supporting individuals for whom English is a second language.

To help us to reach and help even more people we are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and talented person to join our successful CLDE adult learning team.

The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.

This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
