Centre Supervisor
35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (5 days out of 6, to suit business needs)

£29,540 - £31,688 / £16.19 - £17.36 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the St Magnus Café, Kirkwall Community Centre and Town Hall, promoting the Centre and Café as a provider of a high quality food and meeting room service. The role is also responsible for line management of centre staff.
Applicants should hold an SVQ2 in Professional Cookery or other SCQF level 5 qualification in Catering/Cookery or, where the essential qualification is not held, have a minimum of 1 year previous experience in commercial/professional food preparation.
Candidates should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
