Centre Supervisor

35 hours hours per week, Monday to Saturday (Any 5 from 6 to suit business needs)

£31,788 - £34,117 / £17.42 - £18.70 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the St Magnus Café, Kirkwall Community Centre and Town Hall, promoting the Centre and Café as a provider of a high quality food and meeting room service, including line management of centre staff.

You should hold an SVQ2 in Professional Cookery or other SCQF Level 5 qualification in Catering/Cookery. Where essential qualification is not held, a minimum of 1 years' previous commercial/professional food preparation experience is required.

A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.

This post is subject to Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
