Permanent, with additional 7 hours per week, temporary to 31 May 2026
£31,739 - £33,929 / £34,458 - £37,123 pro rata
£17.39 - £18.59 / £18.88 - £20.34 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to Caroline Penman.
Your working pattern is between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The purpose of this role is to support local adults, who may have a learning disability, autism spectrum disorder or difficulty understanding information, to access meaningful paid employment, education, and work placement opportunities within their local community.
Key responsibilities include employer engagement, mentoring and supporting service users while in placement or employment, providing CV and application support and monitoring and recording progress towards agreed goals. The post holder will help bridge the gap between individuals and potential employers by promoting career readiness and addressing barriers to employment. We are looking for an individual with strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills, along with a sound understanding of local employers and employment opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to assess service user skills, demonstrate excellent organisational abilities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
