You will be reporting to the Senior Registrar.
As this is a part-time post, we will discuss and agree the working hours as per the successful applicant’s availability. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to deliver statutory functions relating to the registration of births, deaths, civil partnerships and marriages, in line with the requirements of the National Records of Scotland.
Are you a natural communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are looking for a dedicated and organised Registrar to join our busy Registration Service. You will play an integral part in the community, guiding people through some of life's most significant milestones.
We are looking for someone who is well organised and compassionate to ensure the efficient and accurate provision of our registration service to the public during stressful or joyful times.
You will work on an individual basis as well as part of a small team, providing a high-quality customer focused service including telephone, face to face and electronic methods. You must be able to handle sensitive situations in a calm and discrete manner.
