Stromness Swimming Pool

Relief Lifeguard

Hours are offered on and as and when required basis

£16.03 per hour

The above amount includes Distant Islands Allowance.

A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate.

A Relief Lifeguard is required to effectively carry out the operational procedures of the pool, fitness facilities and assist the management team.

You will be expected to work shifts covering school and public sessions throughout the opening hours.

A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification will be essential or where this is not held you must be willing to achieve this qualification within 6 months of appointment.

You will be carrying out a swimming teacher/coaching role and training is available. You should be able to work as part of a team, providing an excellent standard of cleanliness and customer care.

This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.
