This post is only applicable to current Orkney Islands Council employees.
As part of the rota, sleep ins are required. These are paid at a hourly rate on top of the weekly contracted hours.
You will be reporting to the Senior Social Care Worker and Registered Manager.
Your working pattern is shift working over seven days, we are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to provide support, care and direction, in a wide range of activities in a variety of community based settings, to encourage the individuals to develop personal independence skills and pursue social and recreational interests. You will assist individuals with general care and wellbeing including basic needs and administering medication.
