Support for Learning Assistant

15 hours per week, Term Time
Temporary up to 31 March 2025
£25,918 - £26,119 pro rata / £14.20 - £14.31 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

As a member of the school team you will be expected to work with pupils, colleagues and parents. We require candidates to have experience in working with young people and to be committed to supporting, encouraging and including all children in achieving their potential.

You should have a good general standard of education including evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy and hold a SCQF level 5 qualification - e.g. SVQ2, NC or PDA in relevant subject area.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
