Temporary up to 1 June 2027

£35,553 - £38,309 pro rata
£19.48 - £20.99 per hour

The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

This post is only applicable to current Orkney Islands Council employees.

You will be reporting to the Curriculum Leader.

Your working pattern is 21 hours per week on a flexible basis.

The purpose of this role is to support and assess SVQ candidates in the workplace, monitor progress and maintain records, liaise with employers and stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of vocational programmes.

The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires a Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
