We are looking to recruit an experienced leader of people and processes to deliver the redesigned Council’s recruitment and selection system/process and support the wider recruitment and selection policy review implementation.
As a member of HR Operations management team; you will manage the HR Support Team in delivering business focused, systems-based recruitment and contractual administration functions for the Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Orkney’s largest employer, to play a core role in delivering the strategic aims of the Council’s new People Plan, driving improvement and development, as well as continuing to deliver the best possible services for our internal and external customers.
You should be qualified at SVQ4, HND, General Degree level or have 5 years previous relevant experience. You will be an experienced supervisor/manager with a skill for managing systems and process development to deliver customer needs.
Previous experience within an HR setting is not essential but would be advantageous for this post.
Based in the Council Offices, Kirkwall we are happy to consider requests for flexible working including a hybrid home/office split.
