Early Learning and Childcare Modern Apprentice
£12,275 (Fixed Term for 18 months)
Stanley Primary School Nursery, Stanely
Are you aged 16-24 and looking for an opportunity to gain on the job experience whilst working towards a qualification? If so, Perth & Kinross Council seeks motivated individuals who are keen to work with children, whilst gaining an SVQ level 3, Social Services (Children and Young People).
You will work as a member of a team and contribute to the delivery of an integrated approach to children's development in early years within a safe inclusive environment.
During your time on the Modern Apprenticeship Programme you will gain year round work based practical experience & knowledge of various childcare developments & settings, including nurseries, wraparound care and out of school.
This work based learning will also be supported by regular theoretical learning opportunities delivered by the Early Learning & Childcare Teams.
You will be required to register with the SSSC.
As a Modern Apprentice with Perth & Kinross Council there are also many opportunities to get involved in corporate events, networking connections events , to participate in charity fundraising and take part in a community volunteering activity.
