An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced part time Fleet Service Advisor with Perth & Kinross Council within our Friarton Depot Workshop. This role would suit someone already working in the automotive industry. If you would like to continue a career within this industry, then we would like to hear from you.

The Service Advisor role is one of the most important roles within our Fleet Department and it is not just providing a service it is about building warm, trusted relationships in our council.

Skills & Experience Required

You will be a 'hands on' customer focused team player who will take complete responsibility for council vehicles and their concerns and be able to produce industry leading customer service under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience gained within a fast-paced environment, and ideally within the motor industry.

You will / will have:

  • Display a keen interest in working in a front line garage setting.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
  • Ability to be able to work flexibly and to tight timescales.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate you can work both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to use IT equipment and systems effectively.
  • Experience of working with a range of internal and external customers.
  • Experience of solution focussed situations.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
