Blairgowrie Depot
This post is for an Agricultural Tractor Driver.
The tractor driver duties covers the Eastern and Highland areas. You will also work as part of a team and you will perform maintenance tasks throughout the Blairgowrie area such as grass and hedge cutting, pesticide application, litter collection.
You may also be required to carry out other duties such as assisting with burials, street sweeping, refuse collection and any other Environment Service's tasks as and when required.
You may also be required to undertake other duties to assist other services.
The Environment Service has moved from the traditional Monday -Friday shift patterns, this post is Wednesday to Saturday week 1 & Thursday to Saturday week 2 working pattern.

Skills & Experience Required
A Cat C1E driving licence is essential with Current CPC being desirable.
You must have experience of driving a tractor and be able to use the associated ancillaries and attachments.
You should have horticultural background with good plant knowledge.
You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post.
You must be able to complete paperwork associated with the post e.g. timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records etc.
A working knowledge and experience of computers/ smart phones would also be beneficial.
To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and be prepared to walk carrying/ moving loads over rough ground in all weathers. You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.
