This is a busy, challenging and varied role providing comprehensive housing management services to tenants and residents in the Letham Housing Locality based in the Letham Housing Office - and on occasion across other localities within Perth and Kinross.

This is a full time post, fixed term for up to 12 months from beginning May 2026 to cover maternity leave.

The individual appointed will be expected to support tenants to ensure they are comfortable and secure in their homes and provide advice and guidance to help tenants to sustain their tenancies and contribute to attractive, safe and sustainable neighbourhoods.

The role involves estate and tenancy management including neighbourhood, anti-social behaviour and environmental complaints, rent and arrears management, housing advice and information.

The post involves contact and liaison with a wide range of customers including colleagues within the team, in other council services, external agencies, customers, tenant representatives and elected members. You will also be required to carry out visits to tenants' homes for tenancy and estate management purposes as part of the role.

You will bring a positive energy; embrace change and work with the business to ensure optimum service is always provided.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate must be/have:

  • Organised and structured in their approach to the role and able not only to prioritise but react quickly to changing situations within appropriate timescales.
  • Able to place a high focus on customer care and be committed to delivering a high quality service.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and other services seeking the best possible outcome or solution.

  • Adapt their approach in accordance with the needs of customers and colleagues in a non-judgemental and respectful manner.
  • Able to work flexibly to meet service demands - if required across all localities in Perth and Kinross.

  • Have excellent IT skills and be competent and comfortable using all Microsoft Office packages but specifically Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Able to appropriately apply confidentiality when using and sharing information and have an awareness of the relevant legislation.

You must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.

You must be friendly, outgoing and approachable, good at multi-tasking and a committed team player who can work well within a large team and be open to others thoughts and opinions.
