An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Assistant working within Business Services to provide a comprehensive, professional and high level of business support.

This post is based at 2 High Street, Perth though the Council are currently operating a hybrid working system with a minimum of 2 days based in the office combined with working from home and on MS Teams. 

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

•    Administer the Early Learning & Childcare (ELC) applications process in line with PKC Policy & guidelines.
•    Check all new ELC applications received, obtain further information if required and then process accordingly.
•    Monitor available spaces at all PKC School settings. Liaising with the setting over any issues/anomalies.
•    Allocate places where available and manage changes promptly.
•    Communicate outcome information for all applications received.
•    Respond to queries received from parent and carers, ELC settings, and other PKC departments.

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for a focused individual who has experience in an administrative role.  

You should have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills as this is a busy and demanding role with often conflicting priorities. 

The successful candidate should have: 

•    Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of packages.
•    Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with internal and external customers.
•    The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
•    The ability to work accurately under pressure and within tight timescales.
•    The ability to forward plan and manage your own workload.
•    Experience of working within a busy team and able to demonstrate good working relationships.
